It’s October, and it’s still beautiful here in Calgary so far! Our fall season is always very short (maybe a month-ish), but it is also always extremely gorgeous. I’ve been having fun going out to some country back roads and taking photos of all of the fall beauty and changing leaves. I find that we tend to have a span of about week and a half during mid-end of September where all of the colours are happening at once, and before the trees start to lose most of their leaves and become bare. I thought I would show you a few of my pictures this time around, and then I will get into showing you just a couple extra fall things around my house. Keep scrolling!… Because there’s a few… 🙂
Don’t all of the reds, yellows and oranges just make you smile? Alberta truly is a beautiful province, and I love that it is home for us!
As for my fall home decor… I have so far only shown you my mantle set up. I don’t really do a full home tour because of the little condo space we have, but I thought I would show you a couple of other elements in our home and how they are arranged this season.
First is my industrial entryway table, that I first showed you in this blog post. Here it is for fall..
Continuing with my neutral theme… of course. My tin cake stand is from the wonderful Magnolia Market. I picked up my “happy fall” sign at a market last fall from City and the Sticks. The rest of the pieces I have found over the past few years, including a little branch from the park near our home. If you have any other questions, please let me know!
Next up is just what I have on my coffee table for now…
A vintage mason jar full of acorns, a lovely white pumpkin from the grocery store, and a white jug with sunflowers (that’s where I added in my little bit of colour). There’s also a neutral decor book and some light reading from Victoria Magazine 🙂
I played around with having a couple of pumpkins on my coffee table tray as well.
Well, that’s all I have to show you today. I hope you enjoyed the plethora of fall pictures, as well as my extra fall decorating of course. Thanks for stopping by!
