FRESH FALL TABLESCAPE

Hi, everyone! I hope you’re enjoying the first week of October. It has been nice to have some cooler fall weather the past few days here. It certainly has gotten me settled into the autumn season. I finally picked up my first pumpkin spice latte this past week (I know, I know, I’m super late to hopping on that train this season), and each year I almost forget how delightful they are until that first, blissful sip. Now there’s no turning back! Haha.
I am so excited to share that I am participating in a blog hop with a bunch of other talented ladies today! We are all showing off our fall tablescapes, so there is going to be a lot of inspiration on how you can set up your dining room/kitchen tables for the season.

If you saw my latest blog post about our cozy & fresh fall living area, you’ll know that this year I went with a neutral, but bright colour palette, utilizing whites and greens. I also referred to my home as a “pumpkin patch” on a few occasions during that post, and I have integrated the same theme into my fall tablescape.
This was so simple to create, which is always a plus, and draws in natural elements, which I always love in my decor.

To create this look, I first laid down this table runner I found during the summer from Home Sense. Then I layered on two different types of faux greenery from Michaels, mixing and matching them to create a natural looking variance. On top I put a few different sizes of white pumpkins (also from Michaels), and that was that for the centrepiece!

The chargers for the place settings here are from Ikea, and I am just using our everyday plates and utensils. I found my little wood “let’s eat” bread boards from Home Sense, and put cloth napkins on top of those!

I love the texture that the wood and linens add to the place settings. I picked up these lovely hemstitch napkins from Home Sense, but you can find similar ones here. I couldn’t find any napkin rings that I liked, so I just used a piece of twine tied around each to create my own.

Everything here was so simple to put together. Once we have our own home, I would love to recreate this look with real greenery clippings from the yard.

I’m really liking the simplistic and natural look to this little white and green pumpkin patch tablescape. I hope that you do too! I would love to know how you plan to, or have already, set up your fall tables this year. Feel free to let me know!

  1. Oh my goodness Rachel I love this! Your tablescape is so fresh and gorgeous just like the rest of your decor this season. I really love the texture the cutting boards and napkins give the place settings. Just beautiful!
