INSPIRATION - VALENTINE’S DAY DECOR

Hi, friends! Valentine’s Day is approaching, and I haven’t really decorated for it much in the past, but this year I am feeling inspired to create a bit more. I have been looking around online and have come across some really fun DIY crafts, or just simple ways that you can add some Valentine’s themed items in with your regular decor. I thought I would share some of these finds with you today to hopefully inspire you as well!

{ 1. Valentine’s Books }

One idea I came across this year are these sweet painted books, created by one of my fave blogging ladies, Lucy from Craftberry Bush.

I enjoy subtle touches for holidays, and I love how these are definitely themed for the occasion, but are simple in the statement they make. You can read all about how she made her painted books here.

{ 2. Valentine’s Garland }

This is a very simple way to add some flair without being too overstated. I love how these little hearts look on this window!

This shelf with multiple Valentine’s themed garlands hanging is also a cute set up.

{ 3. Valentine’s Wall Art }

I love the idea of changing up some wall art in your home with pieces pertaining to Valentine’s Day.
Check out this gorgeous pallet one.

This one is adorable, too! I actually just made something very similar, but neutral, that I am sure you will see soon.

{ 4. Throw Pillows }

One of the easiest ways I change up my decor for any season is through incorporating different pillows among my usual neutral or white pillows.

This one is super cute!

I also love how unique this one is, and how it just adds that perfect Valentine’s touch.

{ 5. Valentine’s Printables }

Printables are a great way to integrate holiday-themed decorating into your home. You can put them into a frame that still fits with your decorating and call it a day. Super simple.

This heart print is so sweet.

This antler one is cute and will fit in well with some rustic or farmhouse decor.

You can find tons more by doing a quick Pinterest or Etsy search as well.

{ 6. Valentine’s Wreaths }

Hanging a wreath on the door (or other areas in our home) that is themed is always a great way to change things up!

I LOVE this simple eucalyptus heart. So gorgeous.

This wreath is also beautiful. It is natural and neutral, and also fitting for the occasion.

{ 7. Valentine’s Chalkboards }

You may already be doing this if you own a chalkboard. Switching up this fairly standard (in most of our homes) decor item is a great way to incorporate some festive flair.
