Every year during the holiday season, I love to crank up the Christmas music and enjoy spending some time in the kitchen baking seasonal treats for my family. There is almost nothing like it to get you in the holiday spirit. And, as most of you know by now, we moved into our first home earlier this year, so it is an especially exciting time!

Hi, friends! I hope you are all doing well on this chilly Tuesday.
We have been up to our shins in snow since November 1st came, which is typical for our city, and it has me looking forward to the holiday season. It is interesting thinking about being in a new place for the holidays for the first time, though. For the past 5 years, I have been used to having just our one small room to decorate in the apartment we lived in, plus maybe adding a couple of touches to the bedroom. Hi, everyone! I know it has been awhile since you have heard from me, so it is good to be back!
At the end of April this year, my husband and I moved into our first purchased home. It has been so exciting, and we have been so grateful, to have a home that is ours - a place we can finally plant some roots and build into - rather than living the rental house life.
